Mechanical & Application Overview

• Container Size Range: Designed to seam round rigid containers (tin, aluminum, composite, or plastic cans) ranging from 2" to 4-1/4" in diameter and up to 7" tall (standard setup).
• Drive Mechanism: Utilizes a direct-drive gearhead motor paired with an electric clutch/brake assembly.
• Seaming Mechanism: Runs a 10-revolution seaming cycle (5 revolutions for the 1st operation roll to curl the hook, and 5 for the 2nd operation roll to flatten/seal the seam).
• Power Requirements: Standard models operate on 110/115 VAC, 1-phase, 50/60 Hz.
• Operating Logic: Features the momentary pushbutton switch on the front face (above the tag) used to jog/time the seaming cycle or trigger the clutch/brake mechanism during setup and timing adjustments.

Key Operational Notes

• Change Parts Required: To switch between different can diameters or end profile styles (lids), specific target size chucks and base plates/pressure plates are required.
• Seam Inspection: Requires proper base plate spring pressure adjustment and seaming roll clearance checks to ensure airtight, hermetic double seams.
